INTRODUCTION

We are thrilled to announce the upcoming 4th MCLS Conference, scheduled to take place at Osaka University on 9-10 May 2024. Building upon the successes of previous editions, this conference promises to be a pivotal event in the field of life sciences.

Hosted by Osaka University, the 4th MCLS Conference will focus on the theme of "Bio-Molecule Engineering in Life and Natural Sciences for Supporting Sustainable Bio-circular Green Technology." This theme underscores the importance of bio-molecule engineering in advancing sustainable practices and technologies within the bio-circular green economy. Throughout the conference, esteemed speakers and experts will deliver keynote addresses, plenary lectures, and presentations, exploring the myriad intersections between bio-molecule engineering, life sciences, and sustainable technologies. Attendees can expect insightful discussions, networking opportunities, and the chance to delve into cutting-edge research in the field.

We invite all participants to submit their research achievements for consideration in the proceedings and paper publication of the 4th MCLS Conference. Submitted papers will undergo a rigorous review process, with selected papers being considered for publication by the decision of the publisher itself.

    Abstract Guideline:

    1. Participants should download the abstract template at the provided link (s.id/AbstractMCLS2024) and write the abstract according to the template in the format .docx or .doc
    2. Register through the provided link (s.id/MCLS2024), fill the registration form, and upload the abstract.
    3. The organizing committee will check your abstract, and respond through email no later than 3 May 2024. If your abstract is accepted, you need to complete the payment after getting the acceptance notification.

    Important Notice

    1. Abstract modifications, changes, or additions whatsoever to the abstract body, authors (either first author or co-authors), or affiliations are not permitted after submission.
    2. It is not permitted to submit the same abstract as one previously published in scientific journals.
    3. One abstract will be accepted per presenter (first author).
    4. Co-authors are eligible to submit more than one abstract.
    5. Please include the latest research result.
    6. The following abstracts will not be accepted: aim of study is not clear, irrelevant replication research, containing significant errors, gap between experiment and conclusion, and lack of moral consideration, etc.
    7. The final decision to accept or reject the submitted abstracts will be made by the Congress Chair. A notification of acceptance or rejection will be sent to each presenter by e-mail.

    PARTICIPATION GUIDELINES

    NON-PRESENTER GUIDELINES

    1. On-site and online participant can provide question in presentation session. Questions should be prepared before being asked and restricted 1-2 question each participant.
    2. On-site participants must raise their hands before asking questions. The moderator will select participants to deliver the question.
    3. Online participant can write their question in zoom chat box, then the moderator will deliver the selected question in forum. Participant can give feedback if asked by the moderator.
    4. Online participant should turn on their camera and turn of their microphones during the conference. They can speak if asked by moderator.

    ORAL PRESENTER GUIDELINES

    1. Each presenter will have a total of 20 minutes, consisting of a 10-minute presentation followed by up to 10 minutes for answering questions. The allocated presentation time must not be exceeded.
    2. Due to the tight schedule of presentation sessions, all presenters must be ready on time for their presentations.
    3. Both online and on-site presenters are required to deliver live presentations. Online presenters must activate their cameras and ensure sufficient internet quality during their presentation time.
    4. The moderator will initiate a call at the beginning of the presentation section to ensure that all presenters are ready. If a presenter fails to confirm their attendance, their presentation will be canceled.
    5. All presentation files should be submitted after acceptance and will be displayed by the organizing committee in .ppt or .pptx format.

    POSTER PRESENTATION GUIDELINES

    1. Poster must be written in English. Prepare the poster with dimensions of 29.7 cm widht x 42 cm height, orientation portrait, single page.
    2. There are no poster live poster presentation. Presenter just submit the poster through provided link (s.id/MCLS2024) with file format .pdf and organizing committee will display the poster in venue and also virtual in website of MCLS 2024.
    3. Please put the title and the names of authors and affiliations at the top of the poster. Display figures, texts, graphs, and charts in high resolution (min 300 dpi).
    4. All Posters will be evaluated by 3 judges.
