All the targets are integrated\nand synergized among economy, social, and environment.&nbsp; Green Industry is\nthe one goal for sustainable development. Recently the application of\nbiocatalyst enzyme in industrial process are increasing year by year due to the\neco-friendly impact towards green technology. &nbsp;That is why the research on\nMolecular Enzymology and Enzyme Technology are also develop and beneficial for\nthe economic impact. The uses of industrial enzymes are including the food and\nbeverage industry, the textile industry, the leather industry, the paper\nindustry, the livestock industry, the agricultural industry and others. One of\nthe targets of industrial enzyme technology is the use of enzymes in\nbioconversion of agriculture waste based on lignocellulose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Indonesia is a tropical country that\nhas the potential to produce lignocellulose waste. Main chemical compounds in\nagricultural waste are containing lignin, hemicellulose, and cellulose. The\nhigh content of those lignocellulose waste has the potential as an energy\nsource also industrial raw material. Complete degradation of lignocellulose\nwaste into monomers or oligomers requires synergy of several enzymes including\nxylanase, cellulase, laccase, pectinase, amylase, mannase, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In order to update our horizon with\nrecent progress in lignocellulases biotechnology field, we organize an research\nsymposium on \u201cLIGNOCELLULASES: FROM ISOLATION TO STRUCTURE-FUNCTION MECHANISM\nAND INDUSTRIAL APPLICATION\u201d.
