University CoE Research Center for Bio-Molecule Engineering (BIOME) was established on March 12, 2019 based on the Chancellor’s Decree No. 965/UN3/2019. This Research Center expands and adds to the field of research and development, not only the existing proteomics research group but also areas of work that have been previously developed in Department of Biology and Department of Chemistry, namely Microbiology and Exploration and Synthesis Of Bioactive Compounds. Furthermore, the development of biological molecules is also carried out by conducting various explorations, isolations and engineering of biomolecules sources, both those found in nature and the results of the development of chemical synthesis as activators and inhibitors that can be applied in various medical bioindustry, pharmaceutical and agroindustry for food, feed and environmental treatment towards an environmentally friendly industry or green industry
