Description

An event designed by University CoE Research Center for Bio-Molecule Engineering (BioME),Universitas Airlangga, in Collaboration with Indonesian Culture Collection (InaCC), Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI) as an institution that handles the management culture collections in Indonesia, and Thailand Bioresource Research Center (TBRC) founder of ASEAN Microbial Database (AmiBase), to communicate among institutions in Indonesia which are engaged in the management of microbial culture collection. This workshop will provide information related to microbial data sharing and analytical tools, opening up opportunities for database integration among institutions in Indonesia to the ASEAN level, and how to utilize AmiBase, the service hub of microbial data in ASEAN served by ASEAN Network on Microbial Utilization (AnMicro), provides a standardized protocol for sharing microbial diversities data. Thus, the participants present can improve their quality of management of microbial culture collection and increase their participation in creating a global database.

Participants

We invite biotechnologists, microbiologists, microbial data curators, academicians, researchers, students, industry players, and other stakeholders.
